About the Role

We are seeking a Rider Training and Support Lead to own delivery and optimisation of rider training, to ensure we have a world-beating team of delivery riders. You will also lead rider performance management and support activities. In doing so you will play a key role in ensuring that we delight our customers every single time with world-beating delivery speed and experience.

 

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Own new training processes, assets and resources using a range of delivery methods (e.g. video, simulation), including creation, roll out, monitor and iteration
  • Deliver training activities for our rider team to ensure excellent customer service
  • Support the launch of new dark store locations by training store staff on-the-ground
  • Ensure our rider team adheres to performance standards
  • Handle rider support queries, escalating issues if required

 

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required


  • 2+ years of experience managing hourly workers in, for example, a retail or food service store manager or area manager role or a start-up environment
  • Experience defining and delivering new training processes 
  • Clear and confident presentation and and communication skills
  • Enjoy building rider communities and creating positive work environments
  • Organisation skills - experience handling and escalating support issues is a plus
  • A no nonsense attitude - you are not afraid to provide constructive feedback to enforce the highest performance standards
  • You are able to work during some weekends
