🔋 Infyos, the team and our purpose

Infyos helps leading supply chain players - from battery makers to car makers to energy storage providers - overcome the challenge of opaque and high-risk supply chains. We are a supply chain sustainability platform that lets battery supply chain players measure, manage and improve their sustainability. Infyos is the one-stop platform that takes you on your whole sustainability journey from to operations to impact.

Our values are:

  1. 🪄 Impact driven
  2. 🔐 Trust building
  3. 🏃🏽‍♀️ Continuously improving
  4. ⚖️ Pragmatic
  5. 💚 Caring

We have recently released the first version of our platform to our customer. Over the coming months the team will be iterating to make improvements, while also performing discovery workshops to validate the roadmap.

We have a startup-like mindset in the way we work, reflecting our values. Expect a place to learn new skills, be creative and take ownership. We believe that by equipping people with the best tools to solve their own problems, we can tackle the whole world's problems better, together.

🔮 About you

Infyos are looking for a full stack software engineer to work across the whole product to deliver on customer features and strategic long term product goals.

We use typescript/javascript as our primary language for our client-side and server-side services, a modern CI/CD pipeline using Github Actions, with Cloudformation to manage our infrastructure.

You will be ideal for the role if you:

  • have 4+ years experience in javascript/node with a good understanding of how the web works
  • have a good understanding of databases and domain modelling
  • are experienced in API design with an understanding of REST APIs
  • understand the tradeoffs between production ready code and prototyping
  • take pride in writing clean code that gets deployed to production regularly
  • understand you are building for the user, customer and the next engineer
  • are comfortable reasoning with non technical team mates
  • Have experience with deploying javascript products to production for 4+ years

⚙️ The role

  • You’ll be working directly alongside the CTO to deliver on the product roadmap
  • You’ll be developing across the whole stack (client-side, server-side, infrastructure and automation)
  • You’ll learn and contribute to the entire product life-cycle, allowing you to develop skills outside of engineering
  • You’ll shape our product engineering process
  • You’ll have impact on the product on a daily basis
  • You’ll gain a deep understanding about our customers, product and roadmap
  • You’ll share your knowledge and experience in appropriate ways to build on our inclusive and collaborative way of working

🧩 The interview process

We want to make sure our process gives you and us a meaningful insight into what it would be like working together. To be transparent about our hiring process, here’s the plan we aim to complete in 2 weeks max:

  1. ☎️ Initial phone call - audio call (60 min) - The goal of this call is to give you as much context about the role and Infyos as possible. Learn about your motivations, technical capabilities and how you like to work.
  2. Culture screening - video call (30 min) - This will be a zoom call with the founders. We’ll look to understand your aspirations, values and drive. We’ll also answer any questions you have or topics you want to discuss.
  3. 👫 💻 Pair programming - video call with screen sharing (90 min) - We’ll work on a problem together or build something. The goal is to understand how you work, solve problems and reason. You’ll also get an opportunity to learn about our processes first hand.
