Career Ear is the UK’s first intelligent careers advice, discovery and recruitment platform. Careers guidance and support in the UK (and globally) is failing people, in particular, young people and those from disadvantaged backgrounds struggle the most. Meanwhile employers are struggling to properly engage, attract and retain talent in the UK, particularly when it comes to talent from underrepresented groups. Career Ear solves these problems.
We provide a one-stop-shop environment for entry level talent to explore their options, discover their skills, ask questions to industry professionals and get matched to career-related opportunities that suit their interests and skills. We empower employers to engage, attract and employ quality diverse talent for their entry positions.
What’s our current state of play?
We are relaunching a brand new version of Career Ear following feedback and further research after releasing our MVP which saw 1200 users sign up to the platform and revenue generated. The response to Career Ear has been exceptional amongst users and stakeholders and has already won awards for being such a creative and disruptive platform. We are
looking for you to join our CEO, Head of Product, Impact Lead, Lead Developer and others on our journey to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
What kind of person are we looking for?
At Career Ear, we are looking for an individual who will thrive and develop personally and professionally and who will contribute to driving success. You will be someone who is:

You will also have experience and a successful track record in B2B sales and/or be a former recruiter and not afraid to delve into some marketing activities. You may have an existing network of contacts that you can leverage in this role. You will also, and importantly, have a passion for our vision and be aligned with our values.
Rather than tell you what how to do your role, we prefer to tell our people what we would like them to achieve. We then work with and support you to achieve your outcomes. For this role, you will play a key part in helping Career Ear to achieve the following:
- Build a strong customer pipeline and use data to build appropriate sales process using our Hubspot CRM
- Increased conversions
- Generate revenue in alignment with our projections
- Develop relevant SOPs
Specific goals with KPIs will be agreed with you at the outset.
Role is part-time. Generous commission for the first six months followed by basic + commission.
