Salary: £30k – £40k pro rata (depending on skills and experience). This role will be a (FTC) fixed term contract for approximately 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Location: Flexible, remote during the pandemic, but expectation to work from client office in London once normal working patterns resume. 

Working hours: Monday to Friday, with some evening working required. We offer flexitime and remote working.

About the role

The Associate Management Consultant role will be required to support with delivering client projects or client engagements, contribute to creation of content for the consultancy and business development and providing PMO services for client engagements. This role would suit an experienced consultant, PMO lead or project manager who is able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with limited guidance and on own initiative. The focus is on client delivery supporting others as part of a team. 

We are currently looking for an Associate Management Consultant to work on a client engagement strategy growth and regulatory focussed project for a payments focussed European fintech. The role of the Associate Management Consultant would be to provide PMO services to the global project team.

The candidate will be responsible for:

§  Develop project plans and define deliverables that meet identified requirements, and customer expectations

§  Co-ordinate and facilitate project meetings

§  Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities

§  Establish and manage project baselines; participate in programme change boards

§  Preparation of presentation material for internal and external meetings

§  Report project status and performance metrics to program leadership team 

§  Ensure project team member responsibilities, accountability and authority are clearly documented and understood

§  Ensure assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and provide appropriate tracking and reporting per plan

§  Conduct required research and content creation to support business development activity

What are we looking for?

§  Have prior experience of working in Consultant, Project Manager / PMO role

§  Prior experience in project reporting, project plan management

§  Good stakeholder management experience and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

§  Prior experience working in Financial Services or Tech (ideal)

§  Prior experience in working in Payments (desirable) 

§  Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

§  Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively is essential

§  Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel

§  Proficient in Canva to design content (desirable)
